Absolent is a company working with one of the most important issues in our Industrial development today: Air-Cleaning. In many parts of the world, this problem is getting more and more severe and makes our job even more important. With a high-quality Air-Filtration system, pollution and health-issues can be reduced or eliminated.

Absolent is a world-leading company within air filtration for oil mist, oil smoke and dust. Our Head Quarters are based in Lidköping, Sweden. We also have subsidiaries in USA, China, Germany and France. Through a well-established distributor network we have additional representation in more than 50 countries. We clean air from industrial processes like machine tools, die casting machines, heat treatment etc.

Job description

Absolent APAC is covering all of Asia including Australia. We are focusing on a couple of prioritized markets, while also working to support business in the region as a whole. As we are now growing, we need to expand our team with an “APAC Technical Sales Support” professional.

You will work to support our APAC team in China and the rest of Asia with technical product information and solutions including quotations. You will also support our sales team in Sales Meetings and in developing new markets/countries in Asia.

Since our team is growing and is still very entrepreneurial, you will need to be prepared to work with a wide variety of tasks needed to develop our business in APAC. The role has significant opportunities for development and career progression, all depending on personal drive and performance.

Requirements

To fit this role it is a requirement to be fluent in English, both spoken and written and used to using English as a professional language. If you additionally can speak Swedish or Mandarin, that will be an advantage (but not a requirement).

You have a technical background, and have at least a Master of Science with excellent academic records. You probably have a background in product management, preferably with insights in both sales and technical design and are able to apply both skill-sets in your work. You have to be prepared to travel both in China, APAC and to Europe/Sweden.

• Strong experience from the Automotive/Manufacturing industry is a clear merit
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Swedish and Mandarin is considered an advantage
• MBA, MSc or equivalent degree
• Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
